At a Skype meeting, as part of Young Women
Parliamentary that is part of S.H.I.N the Israeli
movement for women equality activities, a Jewish girls
(from Kfar Saba, Herzliya and Bat Yam) and Arab girls
(from Kafr Qara and Mardis) met in a video conference
with girls from Dayton Ohio.
The meeting was held at the Cultural Center of the
American Embassy in Jerusalem, which sponsors the
project. The girls discussed the issue of leadership of
young women and girls. The most prominent role model
most Israeli and American girls addressed was their
mother. Felicity Aziz of the Cultural Center assisted in
organizing the event and Einat Meital, the project
coordinator, was responsible for all the coordination
and preparation.
