Launching nationwide activity of Young Women’s Parliament

On Wednesday, 23.12.15, the SHIN – equal representation of women – movement, headed by Professor Esther Hertzog, held a national launching conference for the renewal of the nationwide activity of Young Women’s Parliament, in which the topic of dealing with strangeness during adolescence was discussed, under the theme, “Turning strangeness into success”, and in which over 200 Arab and Jewish young women from all over Israel participated. Honored guests who participated in the conference were the Mayor of Herzliya, Moshe Fadlon, the head of Women’s Administration in the Herzliya municipality Orna Sadgat Erez, Aya Prishkolnik, Deputy Mayor, in charge of the education and women’s departments, Thomas Genton, Communications Manager at the US Embassy in Israel, that donated towards the expansion of the activity, Professor Esther Hertzog, founder of the SHIN movement, and other SHIN executives, alongside the moderators of Young Women’s Parliament, Rachel Levi-Hertz and Hunaida Assaf.
